A Military sports forum will be held in St. Petersburg

On July 22, a Military sports forum will be held at the Lenreserv Museum Complex at Feodosiyskaya str., 4 K.1.

Guests and participants will have a tour of one of the unique museums of St. Petersburg, based on the world's largest private collection of cars, military equipment and the material heritage of the Great Patriotic War. An exhibition of modern weapons, special equipment, communications equipment and uniforms will also be organized.

Military educational institutions will present expositions and stands, hold consultations for future cadets and high school students, tell about the advantages and advantages of their educational institutions and introduce all aspects of the educational process.

All visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of departments: the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Main Directorate of the National Guard Troops, the Military Commissariat of St. Petersburg, the Investigative Committee will present their expositions. There will be demonstrations by special purpose units and dog training service, DOSAAF sites, military-applied clubs and shooting centers will be organized.

Sports zones will be organized where you can try your hand at tug of war and pass the TRP standards. The highlight of the Forum will be demonstration hand-to-hand combat and open training under the leadership of Sergey Konikov, deputy head of the special purpose group "Vimpel" of the Central Security Service of the FSB of Russia, adviser to the co-chairs of the Russian Union of Martial Arts.

The business program will be no less intense – a plenary session and sections on topical topics of patriotic education and sports training of children and youth with recognized experts.

The Forum is organized to ensure the functioning of the system of patriotic education of children, adolescents and youth and to increase the quantitative and qualitative indicators of their involvement, strengthen the positive image of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and law enforcement agencies, increase the prestige of military education and military service, within the framework of the Federal project "Patriotic Education" of the National Project "Education".
