Folk Culture Festival

22 June 2022
778

This evening was truly inspired. The festival of music for bayan and accordion was opened by young musicians. Plays "On the rink" performed by Maxim Pytlin, "On the hills of Manchuria" – Peter Gubanov sounded confident, enthusiastic, and "On the hills ..." – also with virtuoso variations. The instrumental trio performed the piece "Jump-skip" fervently and at the same time melodically and gently – the combination is by no means banal. Schoolboy Vsevolod Maron turned out to be an accordion master, and Ivan Kulagin was a virtuoso, so it seems that for the first time we managed to feel the beauty of the song "Going on leave ..," performed with heartfelt lyrical variations... I can't even list all the talented guys who touched a nerve, but I will also mention Pavel Belkov, who struck with his performance: how much tenderness, joy in his exquisite treatment of "Over the Rainbow"!

Recognized masters performed in the second section.

Our incomparable Viktor Dukaltetenko, who has just celebrated his 70th birthday, performed Vivaldi's "Spring" - and we heard the gentle overflows of spring streams under the gentle, joyful sun... Variations on the themes of the Ukrainian folk song "The Cossack Rode across the Danube", this truly virtuoso masterpiece performed by our master, demonstrated the noble idea of the undoubted superiority of culture over political incidents and disorders. The culture is one. The ovation of the audience confirmed this...

Many of our craftsmen were pleased – the concert turned out to be rich, full-fledged.

Our extravagant virtuoso, I would say, accordion dandy composer Vladimir Ushakov pleased with the "Blues of his hometown." Ensemble of soloists of the orchestra of folk instruments named after Vasily Andreeva is a classic of the genre, the highest world level.

The concert was a great success and, of course, ended with the chorus of the entire auditorium – "What a song without an accordion!"
