City competition "Paints of the city"

The acceptance of applications for participation in the city competition of fine and decorative-applied art "Paints of the city", dedicated to the City Day – the Day of the foundation of St. Petersburg, begins.

St. Petersburg is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. People come here for inspiration and stay forever. Unique white nights, bridges and parks, wide avenues and majestic Neva. The unique architecture of our city allows you to plunge into almost any historical era. We invite you to walk along your favorite streets, see something new and unusual in familiar landscapes and share it with us!

The competition is held for the first time, this year it is timed to the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter the Great. The works of the participants can reflect architectural masterpieces of the past and symbols of modern St. Petersburg, urban landscapes and images of famous residents of the Northern Capital, significant city events in different historical epochs and the image of the founder of St. Petersburg, Peter the Great.

Dates: April-May 2022. Participation is free!

We are waiting for creative works by students of general education and art schools, participants of creative collectives of cultural institutions, youth and social policy, additional education, independent authors from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region aged 7 years and older in the following nominations:

• "Painting"
• "Graphics"
• "Decorative and applied creativity"

Applications are accepted until May 7, 2022 (inclusive)!
